Why are Cirque Du Soleil songs different on the CD than their shows?

Just out of curiosity, why does Cirque Du Soleil put different "remixes" on their CDs instead of using the songs they use at their live performances? I think the live performance songs are ten times better than the actual CD...

1. You need to understand that EVERYTHING done by Cirque du Soleil is a WORK IN PROGRESS.. they never stop changing and modifying things.. and that includes the music
